Based in Chicago, IL, Medwest Associates was founded in 1992 by current owners, Paul Lopez and Edward Green. After careful research and market study, Paul and Ed saw the need for a customer-orientated, independent sales organization focused primarily on the Arthroscopic/Orthopedic market. They seized this opportunity and created an orthopedic distributorship focused on innovative products and superior service. They have seen the need to apply these principles to other areas of the market and have branched into Post-operative services, skills training, and office services. Contributing over 20 years of experience in the orthopedic industry, Paul and Ed bring their enthusiasm of the orthopedic business to the leadership of Medwest.

Medwest's goal is to provide their customers with superior systems, knowledgeable representation, unsurpassed service, and continued focus on the future of their represented areas. Medwest features a full array of orthopedic manufacturers including Arthrex and AlloSource.

Our Sales Team is geographically dispersed to service the Midwest with complete coverage in Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, Eastern Missouri (St. Louis), and Northwest Ohio (Toledo). Our Operations Team, billing, inventory, and skills lab are located at the Chicago headquarters.

In addition to our Chicago headquarters, we have branched out and opened skills labs in Indiana and Michigan, allowing surgeons to evaluate the innovative Arthrex products.
